Thus, this research will concentrate on a practical way to speed this process and to achieve at leas t a fair level of speediness in trial procedures. Eliminating the case backlog and maintaining it in the future will be helpful in the country's criminal justice administration. Delays cost the country money and time and can add greatly to the expense for lawyers, causing hardship for the accused, which is not a desirable result by any standard. The Topic The research will basically tackle the problem of delays in criminal trials in Saudi Arabia. This will be done via two main methods, comparative analysis of speedy trial laws and policies in other nations as well as through surveys from individuals involved in the delivery of justice in Saudi Arabia.
